Granite Electrical LLC is more than just a business—it's the realization of a dream that has been years in the making.
My name is Jason Hilerio, and after more than 30 years in the electrical trade, I founded Granite Electrical LLC with one goal: to provide honest, dependable electrical work while treating every customer the way I would want my own family to be treated.
Electrical work has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was fortunate to be raised in the trade by my father, who owned a small electrical business in Massachusetts. I began my career working alongside him, where I learned not only the technical skills of the trade but also the importance of honesty, craftsmanship, and taking pride in every job, no matter the size. It was there that I developed a genuine passion for residential electrical work and the opportunity to help homeowners improve and protect the places they call home. I spent the next 10 years specializing in residential electrical before expanding my career into the commercial industry, where I continued to grow as an electrician and eventually spent more than 20 years as a foreman leading crews on complex commercial projects.
For over 20 years, I worked as a foreman for one of Massachusetts' largest electrical contractors. During that time, I had the privilege of leading crews on a wide variety of commercial projects, including schools, libraries, public works facilities, municipal buildings, and other large-scale electrical installations. Those years taught me that quality workmanship, integrity, communication, and attention to detail are the foundation of every successful project.
But while my career was thriving, my wife and I shared a dream of building a different kind of life.
For years, we planned and prepared for the opportunity to move west. In 2025, we visited Prescott and explored the beautiful communities throughout North Central Arizona. It didn't take long for us to realize we had found the place we wanted to call home. The natural beauty, welcoming community, slower pace, and incredible quality of life made an impression that neither of us could forget.
In early May 2026, we took what many would call a leap of faith. We packed up our entire life, left behind everything familiar in Massachusetts, and moved to Prescott to begin a new chapter. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was the right one. We feel incredibly grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to build both our future and our business in a community that has already made us feel so welcome.
Today, Granite Electrical LLC represents everything we've worked toward. Although our company is new, it is backed by decades of real-world electrical experience, leadership, and a commitment to doing every job the right way.
We're not interested in becoming the biggest electrical company in Arizona. Our goal is much simpler—and much more meaningful. We want to become the company our customers confidently recommend to their family, friends, and neighbors. We believe lasting success is earned through honest communication, fair pricing, dependable service, and quality workmanship, one customer at a time.
